Fire Department to Serve As Community Shelter

Read Full Article Posted October 21, 2007  Helping Us Save Lives  NBFD has received a $10,000 grant From New York State through the office of Assemblyman David Townsend, with which to purchase four complete Scott Air Pack units. Alice Matthews - Posted April 12, 2007 A Marked Increase The number of calls to which the FD responded has seen a marked increase. From Dec. 1, 2006 to April 10, 2007, the FD has responded to 104 calls, quite an increase since our total from Dec. 1, 2005 to Nov. 30, 2006 was 165 calls. Alice Matthews - Posted April 12, 2007 Our 75th Year 2007 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the North Bay Volunteer Fire Department. To help mark this special anniversary, the fire department and fire district plan to work together to keep residents informed of department and district happenings, with the help of the Queen Central News. 2006 was a busy and successful year for the North Bay Fire Dept. and Fire District. 2007 has started much the same way. Pole Barn Addition Completed  The
addition to the pole barn on the firemens field is
complete.
New kitchen facilities and new bathrooms have been added. All
